Welcome to Denver's Nightside
The Nightside Network is a social networking portal for all those living on the Nightside to gather and share information. We welcome Psi and Sanguine vampires of every creed, Black Swans, Energy Workers, Pagans/Neo-Pagans, Otherkin, Therians and members of the many classes of "others". Denver Nightside is for those living in or visiting the Denver, Colorado area and outlying suburbs.
While we welcome many diverse groups to use DNN to connect, we recognize that it is hard for any one person to find the information regarding all of the activities in all of the different houses, covens, organizations and venues. If you want to list your gathering, class, festival or other activity, please feel free to contact us - we are more than happy to post it!
This site was new as of October 2009. If you would like to see something here that you don't currently, please send us a recommendation. We are growing quickly, so make sure your group is represented. This site is free.
The DNN Mission:
DNN grew out of a desire on the part of some Denver nightsiders to meet with others of their kind and of other kinds, face to face. While meet-ups exist, they can be very limiting and costly for the meet-up manager to maintain. Likewise, that tends to cut a very narrow swatch through the various groups and interests. We nightsiders can lead challenging lives, and so, it is to our benefit to know one another as well as expand our community of friends. Nightside.org is dedicated to expanding community contacts throughout our own geographic region and on into the larger scope beyond.

Classes offered through House Vespertine in Denver's Witch's Brew and Summerland Community Center.
- Energy Working: Grounding, centering, perceiving, projecting, shaping energy.
- Constructs: Psiballs, egregors, machine spirits, and other energy constructs.
- Counselor workshop: Exploring the Counselor caste in the Kherete system. Links, traits, donating prana, refining and cycling energy, anatomy, roles in ritual.
- Energetic Needs: Knowing how your energy works, energetic need and feeding, energetic surplus and donating, symptoms of need and surplus.
- Glamour: Illusion, empathic projection, controlling natural glamour, seeing through glamour.
- Links: Sensing connections, forming connections, shielding and filtering links, uses of links, disconnecting links.
- Hacking the Subtle Body: Advanced construct work. Making temporary modifications to the energetic body, with discussion of alterations.
- Healing: Diagnostics, causes of energetic health issues or injuries, repairing auric and subtle body wounds, clearing blockages, aiding nerve burn, drawing out pain.
- Otherkin discussion: What are otherkin? This will be mostly presentation and discussion with perhaps some practical work around shifting and compensating for energetic complications.
- Priest workshop: Exploring the Priest caste in the Kherete system. Energetic need, energetic sensitivity, anatomy, what energy can and can’t be processed, feeding, roles in ritual.
- Ritual workshop: Explanation of and participation in Kherete style ritual.
- Shielding: Filters, shields, defenses, variations, uses, and wards.
- Subtle Body: Discussion of standard subtle anatomy and some common abnormalities or deviations from the norm; energy body readings.
- Vampire discussion: What are vampires? This will be mostly presentation and discussion with perhaps some practical work around diagnostics, feeding, defending against being fed upon, and donating.
- Warrior workshop: Exploring the Warrior caste in the Kherete system. Grounding, anchoring, warding, shielding, anatomy, roles in ritual.
